“Sirenas del Desierto”

Choreographer: Héctor Jaime

Dancers/Collaborators: Eva Silverton, Arpage Lundyn, Pakela Newalu-gomes

This is a piece of a mirage of a group of mermaids that are amongst us offering abundance of water and rain in this sacred land. This piece is performed to honor all the water gods and goddesses around the world. If we pay attention to our actions, magic and water can be saved and shared with our future generations. In this environment, the audience is taken into a piece of imagination where they are able to disconnect from reality and let them focus on an otherworldly experience. This showcases how we are intertwined with each other through water and curiosity for magical moments in our lives.
